Currently combines roles as clinical specialist physiotherapist in the gait analysis laboratory at the Central Remedial Clinic, Dublin, Ireland (2001-present) and HRB research fellow in the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland. Graduated as a physiotherapist in 1999 from University College Dublin and completed MSc research into reflex control of gait following anterior cruciate ligament repair in 2001. Involved in movement analysis since 1999 including a short time as research physiotherapist at the rehabilitation research centre at the University of Sydney in 2006. Published and presented primarily in the area of cerebral palsy (CP) gait. Currently undertaking PhD research into crouch gait in CP, with a developing interest in examining the relationship between gait laboratory data and quality of life and daily activity levels outside of the clinic.
